My new shoes

I ordered a new pair of shoes from Zappos. These are the Propét Wash and Wear Slip-Ons. They're my third pair of these. They're long wearing, comfortable, and come in wide widths. Plus, you are supposed to be able to toss these in the washer. I was looking at the shoes my friends and co-workers were wearing. One was wearing a pair of Vibram shoes that fit him like a glove - literally. Others, were wearing shoes with constrasting fabrics and colors that laced up. My shoes, on the other hand, are plain. One color, one material, no laces. I wonder if there's a meaning to this?

This is weird.. i clicked on leave a comment cuz i was gonna ask about the shoes.. because on my feed.. it doesn't show your entry just the photo.. now i'm off to zappos to check them out.

They are. And, I'll tell you why. First, you don't have to bend over to put them on. You just slide your foot into them, without worrying about breaking down the backs. Second, they hold up. I tend to wear out the heels and outside edge of my shoes, Not these. They wear uniformly. The hold up to the kind of abuse I can give a shoe. You can remove the insole, you can toss them in the washer, they're great.

they do look comfortable... what kind of material is the interior...my feet don't do well with most synthetics... sweating like a lil pig

Actually, I really like the looks of those. I like slip ons, and most of my shoes and crocs are black. Washable is a real plus!
