Ganked from ![]() "What are your TOP 5 favorite "remake/cover" versions of a song?" BUT, (and there is always a but), it can't be too obvious, like "Tainted Love" by Soft Cell or "Sweet Dreams" by Marilyn Manson. Here are my

Here's the rules:
and here's my cover image: |
OWL (1996-1999) The icon comes from the television show "Millennium". Members of the Millennium Group would greet each other with the saying, "This is Who We Are". This icon belongs to "The Owls", one of the factions within the Millenium Group". I use this icon when I am posting something personal, as "This is Who I Am".
HELL It's an eternal flame. I use it to signify that what is being posted will probably get me sent "straight to hell".
BIG GUY (2007) LIfted from the "Heroes" graphic novel, "Chaper 11: Fathers & Daughters". This character was the Eden's abusive father. Eden was the Hero who shot herself, rather than let Sylar get her power. I use it to as a "tough guy" symbol.
SECTOR 7 (2007) This was lifted from one of the websites advertising the movie "The Transformers". I thought this was an interesting throwaway design. I used it once in a response to a post by <lj-user="coachbear">, who was all psyched about the "Transformers" movie.
MAX HEADROOM (1987-1988) The title character of a short-lived but ground-breaking American science fiction television series which aired on ABC. I don't think I've u-u-used Max all that mu-mu-much
FIREBALL XL-5 (1962) Before there was a "Captain Kirk" and a "USS Enterprise" there was "Captain Steve Zodiac" and "Fireball XL5". This was the first major success for Gerry and Silvia Anderson, who went on to do the 60's children shows Supercar, Stingray and Thunderbirds and the sci-fi series Space:1999 (Bad special effects are better than no special effects!) This was one of the first television shows that I really loved and one that started me on the path to geekdom! I'm not sure I've used this icon either.
What American accent do you have? Your Result: The Inland North You may think you speak "Standard English straight out of the dictionary" but when you step away from the Great Lakes you get asked annoying questions like "Are you from Wisconsin?" or "Are you from Chicago?" Chances are you call carbonated drinks "pop."
