4.5 miles | 63 minutes | 1000 Calories | 8700 strides

Soon, I'll be running for 1000 calories in 60 minutes or less. When I'll do, I'll be averaging 145 strides per minute.

Incidently, I did 2 miles in 27:22. At my age, I don't start marking points on the US Army Physical Fitness Test until I do better than 26:30.

At my age, a passing grade of 60 in the US Army Physical Fitness Test is 19:30. A perfect "100" score is 14:24.

Man, that is awesome. I got to get on the ball to keep up with you.

You already do.

You run two sessions a day on the elliptical for 500+ calories each, then a third session on the treadmill for 400+ calories.

I can't burn 500 calories in a half-hour. Close, but no cigar. And, when I do, it's at my weight, not yours.

If I weighed what you weigh, I'd have to run a whole helluvalot faster to burn 500 calories, not to mention the "+".

This week I can feel I need to slow down. I am exhausted and weak. I am doing one a days this week just to rest up.
