Uh-oh. I could be in trouble.
Jun. 29th, 2007 09:26 amI stopped by my dentist's office Monday afternoon for an evaluation and to let him know about a little "sensitivity" I've been feeling.
The bonding on tooth #3 didn't seal properly at the bottom, and decay has set in to the nerve. Looks like I need root canal #3. (He's a great dentist. Won't hurt a bit.)
He wants to do the root canal NOW, but I have a vacation scheduled for next week. So, he's given me some a Zithromax Z-pak to stop any possible infections before they start. I'll get the root canal done when I get back.
(The only problem is, the tooth is just a mite sensitive when I chew. Or, drink. Or, breathe. And, I'm just hoping that I don't run into any painful problems while I'm gone.)
