This Old Truck - Part VIII (Updated)
Jul. 17th, 2008 12:09 am| Q: So, how does the truck run with all them new parts? A: Pretty good. Seems a little zippier. Not used to the changes in handling. I wonder what "CHECK ENGINE" light means. I guess I find out in the morning. UPDATE: (Thursday Morning) Hmmm. Must've been serious. I dropped it off about 7:40 am, and they haven't called yet - and it's 2:40pm! UPDATE 2: (Thursday Afternoon) The front end is fine, the engine noise is normal for its age, but the "CHECK ENGINE" light? That's gonna be a toughy. They have to send it to a second shop. Something about an "OBD". UPDATE 3: (Friday Afternoon) They never called. UPDATE 4: (Saturday Afternoon) They never called. |
