Gym

I got to the gym tonight around 8:30. Ran my usual 500+ calorie half-hour.

Did reverse curls and this rowing exercise, but did things differently. Did a set until I couldn't do another rep. Reduced the weight. Did another set until I couldn't do another rep. Reduced the weight. Did another set until I couldn't do another rep. Reduced the weight. So on and so forth, until there wasn't anything left to do.

Makes the arms BURN! Feels GREAT! Upper chest is really filling out.

On a totally different note, I looked up what William "The Refrigerator" Perry (Chicago Bears - Superbowl XX) weighed at his peak. Oh crap. He and I are are the same weight and he stood 6'2". I'm only 5'5" tall!

I don't think I could go to the gym, it seems like it'd be embarrassing, wandering around and picking things up, then the faces you need to make sometimes when lifting weights and such. That is why I no go.

Sure you could.

There is a big fallacy that only people who look good go to the gym (or the nude beach). Trust me. It ain't true.

My typical routine at the gym is I first run for a half-hour on an elliptical crosstrainer. According to the machine, I run about 2-1/4 miles and burn 500+ calories doing it.

After that, I use a number of different machines to build my chest, my triceps, and my calves.

I never feel embarrassed at the gym (or at a nude beach). Some people LIKE the way I look, and that's without the exercise. And, if they don't, it's too freakin' bad.

I'd like to get under 300 lbs., and I hope that I don't get any bigger than 3XL. I'm as heavy as "The Refrigerator" was at his peak right now!

The Fridge was just thick but you are thick and delicious. Seriously, I think you are doing a wonderful job with your workouts.
