Q: How long have you been doing this?A: Since January '06
Q: I could never do anything like that!
A: Me neither. I only went for ten minutes at a time when I started, and worked my way up.
Q: Have you lost any weight?
A: No, but you ought to see my legs!
Q: Have you noticed any changes?
A: My resting heart rate is 60. My doctor is amazed.
Q: Why did you start "running"?
A: I was having my mid-life crisis and couldn't afford the sports car or the hair plugs.
Q: Are you doing anything else?
A: Yep. I'm doing light workouts on various weight machines.
Q: Why do you always putting running in quotes?
A: On a crosstrainer, my feet remain on the treadles the whole time. There is no impact to damage the ankles and the knees. In any event, it's running, but it's not running. Hence the quotes.
