Is America ready for this?

Miami Beach will never be the same.

You don't suppose they shot this at the "clothing optional" beach at Haulover Park, do you?

Yeah. If you're getting it from Netflix, you have to order Disk 1 as "Battlestar Galactica: The Mini-Series". If you don't, and just order "Battlestar Galactica: Season 1", they'll start you off with Disk 2.

I'm still hoping I can figure out when to see "BSG: Season 2.0", "BSG: Season 2.5", "BSG: The Story So Far", "BSG: Season 3", and "BSG: Razor". Frakin' numbering system!

CASUAL OBSERVATION: Didja ever notice Edward James Olmos wears "eye color-changing" contact lenses in this? During a couple of close-ups, I noticed the "inner" and "outer" pupils.

UPDATE: According to the Wikipedia, Edward James Olmos DOES wear "eye color-changing" contact lenses, in order to look more like Jamie Barber, the actor who portrays his son. To reciprocate, Jamie Barber dyes his hear to more closely match that of Edward James Olmos.

A new "reality" show has appeared on SPIKE TV entitled "Raising the Roofs".

The premise is that Michael Roof, an aspiring actor from Dunnellon, Florida, invites his father and Uncle Stevie to spend an extended stay with him in his studio apartment in Los Angeles. The "problem" is that Papa Roof and Uncle Stevie are a couple of great big rambunctious "good ol' boys" who lounge around in their tightey-whiteys, guzzle beer, fart, yell, cuss, and "raise a little hell" everywhere they go. (Especially, Uncle Stevie who is a real "loose cannon".)

If you don't have cable, you can buy the back episodes on iTunes and you can watch them on your PC. You don't need a video iPod.
